The Largest Pancake in the World: Pancake Math

Hi everyone, Its Shrove Tuesday aka Pancake Day tomorrow and so I thought I'd share one of my popular Pancake Day activities I do with my Key Stage 3 (Year 7) Maths tuition students. Its a great activity which incorporates real world scenarios in a word problem style format similar to what a student might experience in an assessment. It also meets the specific learning objectives for the UK National Curriculum Maths Key Stage 3. "Calculate and solve problems involving: perimeters of 2D shapes (including circles), areas of circles and composite shapes."

Also, its last call for those of you wishing to book on to my Public Speaking for Children Course which runs 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th of February. For more information please see my website at www.isqmathtutor.com/shortcourses.
