IRFANA SAEED
QURESHI

I am an experienced and qualified Educator with a special interest in online learning. I have a postgraduate teaching degree (PGCE) in Secondary Education (Sciences), Masters in Computer Programming, PGDip in Web Applications Development and Bsc (Hon) in Biochemistry from Kings College University.

With almost 5 years experience in teaching, I have taught in Outstanding OFSTED rated UK schools and international private schools as a KS3 Math Lead, Secondary and Primary School Teacher.

I was also Head of Online Education for a well established international school and currently work part time as an Educational Consultant.  My expertise in online learning is also back up by 

numerous certifications from Microsoft, Adobe and Khan Academy in 21st Century teaching using fun and engaging online tools to make education enjoyable and relevant to the modern world we live.

Before starting my journey in Education I had a very successful career of over 10 years in IT, having worked as a Senior Operations Analyst with one of the worlds most prestigious healthcare and medical education providers, Health Education England.

​

I am passionate about mental health, nurturing self confidence, and a promoting a positive resilient attitude towards education in children and young people. This passion has lead me to develop a keen interest in child developmental psychology and pedagogy. This knowledge of how we learn and grow intellectually, and my dedication to supporting positive mental health forms a huge part of my work as a tutor and is central to my efforts to build both resilient & confident learners both inside and outside the classroom.
